Michael is a recognized authority in prevention, specializing in middle and high school prevention talks, as well as staff development. Michael is known for his insightful workshops offering Continuing Education Units (CEUs) on various topics, including the impact of technology, process addiction, complex trauma, and young adult substance abuse. His reputation extends to working with complex individuals and their families during challenging times, aiding in determining the appropriate level of care or suitable placement.

Brendan Young, LCSW
Brendan Young, LCSW is a Co-Founder and CEO of Ethos Treatment, LLC, a substance abuse intensive outpatient program (IOP) and the President/CEO of Mental Health Consultants, Inc., a behavioral health consulting company that provides employee assistance programs (EAP) and other behavioral health services to companies large or small across the US. Not bad for a man who once considered a career as a “golf bum,” which was fortunately cut short by a passion for helping others.
After receiving his undergraduate degree from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia (where he served on the National Alumni Board) and a stint in AmeriCorps NCCC, Brendan went on to earn a Master’s degree in Social Services from Bryn Mawr College School of Social Work and Social Research and is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW). He is a past President and Vice President of the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of the Employee Assistance Professionals Association (EAPA) and former board member for the Employee Assistance Society of North America (EASNA).
An avid cyclist, amateur photographer and mediocre CrossFitter, Brendan currently lives in Glenside, PA with his out-of-his-league wife, two teenage daughters who grow more embarrassed by him every day, and a pair of Labrador retrievers.

Tom Connell, LPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania with advanced certification in Alcohol & Drug Counseling, boasting a three-decade career in the addiction treatment field. His diverse roles have ranged from counselor to CEO, and he has accumulated experience across all levels of care, including Detox Centers, Residential Treatment Facilities, Psychiatric Units, and Outpatient Agencies.
Tom earned his Bachelor’s degree from Temple University in 1986, graduating from the Fox School of Business. He furthered his education with a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Chestnut Hill College in 1991. Tom resides in Hatboro-Horsham with his wife Teresa and is a proud father of three daughters and grandfather to two children.

Ned Moore is a seasoned entrepreneur with a diverse background spanning information technology, healthcare, insurance, retail, real estate, and distribution. As the Co-founder, Chairman, and CEO of Clutch, a leading Customer Management Platform, Ned brings his extensive experience in building and leading high-performing teams. Under his leadership, Clutch was named Technology Startup of the Year in 2012.
Throughout his career, Ned has demonstrated success in founding and scaling companies. As Co-founder, Chairman, and CEO of Portico Systems, Ned led the company to significant growth and eventual acquisition by McKesson Corporation (NYSE:MCK).
Beyond his executive roles, Ned is an active supporter of the entrepreneurial community, serving as an advisor and investor to companies at various stages. He holds board positions in Core Solutions, Villanova Insurance Partners, Finpay, and the Philadelphia Boys Choir & Chorale, showcasing his commitment to fostering growth and innovation.

Katelyn Fisher-Craley, BS
Kate Fisher-Craley, the Director of Operations at ETHOS, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Bloomsburg University. Her professional journey began with a focus on supporting children and adolescents on the autism spectrum, where she dedicated seven years to client-facing roles, cultivating empathy and expertise in behavioral interventions.
Transitioning to the administrative realm, Kate ventured into intake and billing within a leading behavioral health company. This transition broadened her perspective, allowing her to merge her psychological insights with operational efficiency.
Joining ETHOS Treatment LLC marked a crucial moment in Kate’s career. She has played a pivotal role since its inception,navigating through various positions and contributing to the organization’s growth and development.
Kate’s multifaceted experience across client care, intake, billing and operations has equipped her with a holistic understanding of the behavioral health landscape. As Director of Operations, she is committed to leveraging her expertise to drive organizational excellence and ensure the delivery of high-quality services to those in need.

Mike has over 20 years of healthcare operations and technology experience, achieving new growth and business objectives through innovative strategies, a strong customer focus, and exceptional team leadership for healthcare companies ranging from small private companies to large public companies. He is proficient at business planning and growth, defining and executing strategies across the entire product lifecycle, and the successful implementation of strategies to meet financial targets.
Prior to joining ETHOS Treatment, Mike held leadership roles at Change Healthcare, McKesson Corporation, and Portico Systems, overseeing strategic initiatives, growth, and product management. At ETHOS Treatment, Mike serves as Vice President of Business Development, spearheading market expansion, partnerships, and new business opportunities.
Outside of work, Mike is actively involved in local community charities and serves as a Board Member at Malvern Retreat House. An avid trail runner, he competes in the USA Track and Field Mid-Atlantic Region Off-Road Running Series.
Mike is deeply aligned with ETHOS’ mission of “helping people help people,” and is committed to fostering a people-centric model that empowers clinicians to provide high-quality care and support patients’ healing journeys. He is excited to contribute to ETHOS’ growth and impact in the market.

Michael Santoro, Ethos Treatment’s VP of Finance since October 2023, is a seasoned professional with 15+ years’ experience in Finance and Accounting across diverse industries, including Pharma and Travel & Leisure. Beginning at PwC in Philadelphia, he transitioned to Finance, taking on roles of increasing responsibility in companies ranging from $700M to $2B in revenue.
As part of ETHOS Treatment’s leadership team, Michael is thrilled to oversee the organization’s growth into the premier outpatient provider.
A proud graduate of three Jesuit institutions — Saint Joseph’s Prep, Saint Joseph’s University (B.S. in Accounting), and Boston College (MBA in Finance) — Michael combines academic excellence with practical expertise.
Michael resides in Montgomery County with his wife and three young children. When not chasing his kids around, you’ll occasionally find him on the golf course chasing a little white ball for relaxation.

Throughout her career in behavioral healthcare, Samantha L. Osterlof has held a wide range of roles including Behavioral Health Technician, Co-facilitator of Family Programming, Counselor Assistant, Aftercare Coordinator, and various Business Development positions.
She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Elizabethtown College and a Graduate Degree from Saint Joseph’s University, majoring in Criminal Justice with an emphasis in Behavior Management.
Samantha attributes her expertise not only to her academic achievements, but also to the opportunities she’s had to expand her skill set across different aspects of behavioral healthcare.
Samantha is a Certified Advanced Alcohol & Drug Counselor (CAADC). In addition to her professional work, Samantha has a passion for teaching and has taken on various adjunct teaching positions.

Alex Moxam is a graduate of Sidney Kimmel Medical College and completed his adult psychiatry residency at the University of Pennsylvania. Subsequently, he pursued a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the Children’s Hospital of Pennsylvania.
Using a holistic approach and emphasizing shared decision-making, Dr. Moxam engages with clients to initiate and optimize medication regimens. His goal is to decrease problematic symptoms and enhance the overall quality of life for those under his care. Dr. Moxam’s expertise spans both adult and child psychiatry, reflecting his commitment to providing personalized and effective care.

Daisy holds dual board certifications in Family and Psychiatric Mental Health. With a focus on integrating Spanish-speaking psychiatric care, her DNP project was presented at LCH Health and Community Services. As a lead nurse practitioner, she coordinated psychiatric services in hospital settings for diverse populations, specializing in dual diagnoses and medication-assisted treatment.
A Wilmington University graduate who is passionate about education and research, Daisy has contributed to clinical trials and mentored students at the University of Pennsylvania.
Daisy is the founder of Resilio Mental Health Solutions, emphasizing community education and stigma reduction. Actively involved in professional organizations, she’s a Fellow for the Minority Fellowship Program and the immediate past president of NAHN’s Philadelphia Chapter.

Melissa Callahan, ARNP is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with 25+ years of experience diagnosing, treating, and following patients across the adult through geriatric lifespan. She has built her career in both outpatient and inpatient settings with specializations in addiction, behavioral health medicine, and geriatric medicine.
In addition to her clinical work, Melissa has held dual-role positions on executive teams, excelling in administrative and corporate leadership for more than two decades. Over the last seven years, she led her privately owned nurse practitioner practice as chief executive officer, focused on behavioral health care. Previously, she served 10 years as chief nursing officer for a large behavioral health organization.
Melissa has also contracted or worked within multiple health systems — including the VA Health System — for over 20 years. She recently completed a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner certification across the lifespan. Her long-term goal is to expand access to high-quality psychiatric and mental health care for individuals of all ages through collaborative, evidence-based, and continuity-focused treatment.

Having served as a therapist and clinical supervisor for over two decades at multiple organizations in the region, Jennifer brings a wealth of experience to her practice. Her therapeutic approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based practices. Currently, Jennifer focuses on working with adults aged 18 and older.

Britnee has experience working with adolescents as an ABA therapist, implementing behavioral interventions.
Along with experience in adolescent, mental health, and substance abuse counseling, Britnee has clinical experience in all levels of care in the outpatient setting. She has supported many clients throughout their early recovery journey.

He has built and led substance use treatment programs for veterans and first responders, focusing on trauma, emotional regulation, and the cultural barriers that keep people from asking for help.
Bryan facilitates IOP groups and holds a master’s degree in counseling and clinical mental health from Gwynedd Mercy University. He brings clinical experience, personal insight, and a deep understanding of service culture. He believes in showing people that hope is real and that recovery is possible when the right support is in place. His work creates space for honesty, connection, and change.

For four years, Cait facilitated co-occurring mental health and substance use groups in Center City, Philadelphia, gaining valuable experience in group therapy and dual-diagnosis treatment.
Currently, Cait facilitates adolescent mental health and substance use groups in Broomall, PA. She is committed to supporting not only the individual but also the entire family system, recognizing the important role families play in the healing process. Drawing from a broad range of therapeutic approaches, Cait tailors treatment to meet the unique needs of each client, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment where young people can build coping skills, strengthen resilience, and work toward meaningful change.

She has over 20 years’ experience working in the behavioral health field. Christine has worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings with a mixture of populations to include children, adolescents, and adults. She has experience working with individuals struggling with both mental health and substance abuse issues.
Christine has an eclectic and holistic approach to working with clients struggling with addiction. Her multifaceted approach addresses the unique needs of each individual. Christine believes that one size does not fit all and thus she is able to use multiple techniques to meet clients where they are. Being a person in long term recovery affords Christine to utilize her education and her personal experiences to help clients find their path on their own journey of recovery. She uses a person centered strength-based approach to working with clients along with CBT techniques. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Rowan University before furthering her education at Widener University, where she obtained a Master’s degree in Social Work. Alongside her graduate studies, Claudia pursued certification in trauma recovery, underscoring her dedication to comprehensive care.
Throughout her career, Claudia has specialized in assisting adolescents and adults grappling with a range of challenges including eating disorders, body image issues, anxiety, depression, OCD, and PTSD. As a practitioner of HAES (Health At Every Size), she advocates for holistic well-being irrespective of body size.
Central to Claudia’s approach is the belief that our past experiences do not dictate our futures; she empowers individuals to enact positive change in their lives. Throughout her career in behavioral healthcare, Samantha L. Osterlof has held a wide range of roles including Behavioral Health Technician, Co-facilitator of Family Programming, Counselor Assistant, Aftercare Coordinator, and various Business Development positions.
She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Elizabethtown College and a Graduate Degree from Saint Joseph’s University, majoring in Criminal Justice with an emphasis in Behavior Management.
Samantha attributes her expertise not only to her academic achievements, but also to the opportunities she’s had to expand her skill set across different aspects of behavioral healthcare.
Samantha is a Certified Advanced Alcohol & Drug Counselor (CAADC). In addition to her professional work, Samantha has a passion for teaching and has taken on various adjunct teaching positions.
