Kaitlyn Berry brings both professional expertise and genuine lived understanding to her work as a therapist at ETHOS Treatment. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a Minor in Addiction Studies and a Master of Arts in Counselor Education: Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is an Associate Professional Counselor and a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor.

Kaitlyn’s path into the counseling field was shaped by personal, family, and community-level experiences with substance use and mental health — giving her a perspective that is both clinically grounded and deeply human. She has witnessed firsthand how transformative the therapeutic process can be and carries that conviction into every client relationship.
Her clinical career spans approximately six years across a wide range of settings and populations. She began her training through an internship at a sober living home, where she also collaborated on a grant initiative connecting individuals in recovery with employment resources and job training. She later provided case management services through a SAMHSA-funded grant at a separate organization, supporting clients navigating complex systems of care. Kaitlyn has also served as a mentor and academic coach for adolescents and young adults with disabilities, facilitated groups in partial hospitalization and inpatient settings, provided individual and group counseling in adult IOP programming, and delivered individual counseling services at a methadone clinic.

At the heart of Kaitlyn’s work is a belief in each person’s capacity to grow. She is committed to helping clients discover who they are and who they want to become — empowering them to step into the best versions of themselves.

Kaitlyn was drawn to ETHOS for its collaborative culture, strong ethical foundation, and shared commitment to providing exceptional, client-centered care. As the second oldest of six siblings in a blended family, she brings an intuitive understanding of family dynamics, resilience, and the complexity of the human experience — and shows up for every client with that same warmth and authenticity.
