 Substance Abuse & Mental Health IOP – Adolescents

We offer an afternoon Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for adolescents ages 13-18 who have a substance use disorder, a primary mental health concern, or a combination of the two. Teens meet at the ETHOS Jenkintown location three days per week: Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, from 3 to 5 pm. In addition, enrolled teens and their family members attend a family group counseling session on Mondays from 5:30 to 7:30pm. The program is led by Erica Warshawer, LCSW.

 Mental Health IOP – Adults

We offer a morning Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for adults age 18+ who have a mental health concern. Participants meet at the ETHOS Jenkintown location four days per week: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, from 10 am to 12:15 pm. A telehealth option enables remote participation. The program is led by Jenn Rowley, LPC, NCC.

Substance Abuse IOP – Adults

We offer a morning Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for adults 18+ who have a substance use disorder. Participants meet at the ETHOS Jenkintown location three days per week: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, from 10 am to 12 pm. A telehealth option enables remote participation. The program is led by John C. Becker Jr., LPC, CAADC, CEAP, SAP, CTR.

Participants meet at the ETHOS Jenkintown location three days per week: Mondays, Tuedays and Thursdays, from 6 to 8 pm. A telehealth option enables remote participation. John C. Becker Jr., LPC, CAADC, CEAP, SAP, CTR

John has experience as a police officer, clinician, outreach professional, program developer and director. His personal understanding of substance abuse among first responders stems from having overcome addiction in his own life. He is the founder of Guardian Recovery Services, a private practice that provides psychotherapy to first responders struggling with mental health and substance abuse issues. John regularly provides training, education, and consultation to local, state, and federal agencies, and organizations, on topics such as stress, trauma, suicide, and addiction, as they relate to first responders.

Christine Lewin, LPC, CAADC

Christine Lewin, LPC, CAADC

Christine has advanced certification in alcohol and drug counseling. She has over 20 years of experience working in the behavioral health field. Christine has worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings with children, adolescents, and adults. She uses a person-centered, strength-based approach along with CBT techniques. She values the experience of seeing clients use their darkest moments as their greatest assets to gain freedom from substances and help others.

Education: BA in Psychology, Temple University; MA in Human Services Psychology, LaSalle University

Jenn Rowley | LPC, NCC

Jenn works with men and women facing a wide range of mental health challenges including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, men’s issues, borderline personality disorder, and PTSD. Through her experiences both personally and professionally, Jenn has gathered an understanding of the impact trauma can have on a person’s life, as well as the lives of their loved ones. With this knowledge and insight, Jenn is committed to helping improve the lives of her clients through a cognitive behavioral, solution-focused, and trauma-informed approach.

Education: BS in Psychology, MS in Community and Trauma Counseling, Thomas Jefferson University

Erica Warshawer, LCSW

Erica Warshawer, LCSW

Erica brings her clients 18 years of experience and a range of therapeutic modalities. She has worked with children, adolescents, and adults in out-patient therapeutic settings, and spent 10 years supervising and training clinicians across the Mid-Atlantic. She has taught at the University of Pennsylvania’s Graduate School of Social Work and her work has been published in School Services Sourcebook. Her favorite quote from a client is, “I don’t know what kind of witch doctor you are, but this stuff WORKS.” While neither a witch nor a doctor, Erica blends familiarity and flexibility with intentionality and evidence-based interventions to help her clients on their journeys of personal transformation.
