LGBTQIA+ Inclusive Group

AGE GROUP: Adults
LOCATION: Telehealth
DAY/TIME: Daytime Program – Afternoon Hours

At ETHOS, we celebrate and support the LGBTQIA+ community, embrace diversity, and foster inclusivity. We stand with all people who are taking steps to create a society in which everyone can live authentically and proudly.

Determined to lead with change, ETHOS now offers an LGBTQIA+ Inclusive Group as one of our Specialty Tracks. The program serves adults with a mental health issue, a substance use disorder, or both. It is designed to compassionately address the unique needs and experiences of individuals in the LGBTQIA+ community.

Olivia “Liv” Houser, the clinician leading this group, received her masters in mental health counseling from Immaculata University. She has experience working with young adults, adults, couples, and families dealing with substance abuse and co-occurring mental health conditions.

Liv has spoken on panels for “Be a Part of the Conversation” pertaining to LGBTQIA+ and substance abuse. She utilizes psycho-education, motivational interviewing, experiential, cognitive behavioral therapy, family systems, as well as psychodynamic theory. She tailors each client’s treatment plan to the complexities that person is facing on a daily basis.
