AGE GROUP: Young Adults (ages 18-35)

DAY/TIME: Evening program one day per week
Our Young Adult Cancer Survivor Group provides a supportive space for young adult cancer patients and survivors to process the emotional and life-altering impacts of their diagnosis. The group meets online Wednesdays from 5:00-6:30pm.
Group leaders are Jenn Attaquin, LPC, and Carlie Spaeder, MA, Jenn and Carlie combine trauma-informed approaches with empathy and understanding, guiding participants through coping with the trauma of cancer, loss of independence, and significant changes to relationships, self-esteem, and the future.
The group aims to help members regain a sense of control and build resilience by learning practical coping strategies and creating meaningful connections with others who share similar experiences.
The program includes small group discussions focused on processing emotions, gaining support, and learning skills for navigating the life changes cancer can bring.
