Collin Wainwright is a master’s-level social worker who provides individual and group therapy to adults navigating substance use recovery, mood-related concerns, stress, and life transitions. His clinical approach is client-centered and strengths-based, drawing from evidence-based practices to support insight, emotional regulation, and sustainable behavior change. He works collaboratively with clients to identify treatment goals, develop practical coping strategies, and increase self-awareness.
Collin earned his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from West Chester University and his Master’s degree in Social Work from Widener University, where he also completed a certificate in trauma-focused training. He has experience working with individuals in recovery and values a balanced therapeutic style that integrates empathy with accountability.
In addition to his clinical work, Collin is an endurance athlete who has completed multiple marathons, half-ironmans, and an Ironman. This experience informs his work with clients facing burnout, performance pressure, motivation challenges, and difficulties related to long-term goal pursuit.
Collin practices from our Plymouth Meeting location. He co-leads the Primary Alcohol Group and provides therapy to individuals in-person and via telehealth.
