Sarah Velier, LAPC, NCC brings a thoughtful, research-informed, and compassionate approach to her work with children, adolescents, and families. She studied school psychology at the University of Texas at Austin, where she also conducted research in pediatric psychology, and earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University, where she is also currently pursuing her doctoral studies. Since beginning her work in the field, Sarah has built a strong foundation in supporting young people navigating mental health challenges with warmth, skill, and respect. Sarah believes in the healing power of evidence-based mental health care and the importance of a strong therapeutic relationship. She is committed to ensuring that children and teens of all backgrounds have access to effective, individualized care that meets them where they are. Her clinical approach is trauma-informed, neurodivergent-affirming, and multiculturally relevant, focusing on helping teens and families navigate mental health concerns and co-occurring disorders in a way that feels supportive, practical, and empowering.
