Brendan Young, LCSW

Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Young is a Co-Founder and CEO of Ethos Treatment, LLC, a substance abuse intensive outpatient program (IOP) and the President/CEO of Mental Health Consultants, Inc., a behavioral health consulting company that provides employee assistance programs (EAP) and other behavioral health services to companies large or small across the US. Not bad for a man who once considered a career as a "golf bum”, which was fortunately cut short by a passion for helping others. After receiving his undergraduate degree from St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia (where he served on the National Alumni Board) and a stint in AmeriCorps NCCC, Young went on to earn a master’s degree is social services from Bryn Mawr College School of Social Work and Social Research and is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW). He is a past President and Vice President of the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of the Employee Assistance Professionals Association (EAPA) and former board member for the Employee Assistance Society of North America (EASNA). An avid cyclist, amateur photographer and mediocre CrossFitter, Brendan currently lives in Glenside, PA with his out-of-his-league wife, two teenage daughters who grow more embarrassed by him every day, and a pair of Labrador retrievers.
