Laura Herzog, MSS
Laura Herzog holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from West Chester University and a Master’s in Social Services from Bryn Mawr College Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research. With five years of experience in the field, Laura has worked in both residential substance use treatment and outpatient settings. She has served as a recovery support specialist, aftercare coordinator in inpatient treatment, and student support case manager for young adults in a collegiate recovery sober living environment.
Laura is passionate about group psychotherapy and integrates a relational, psychodynamic, and playful approach to her sessions. She employs motivational interviewing, psychoeducation, and interpersonal techniques, grounded in the belief that every person deserves and can access healing and joy. Laura specializes in working with dual diagnosis, grief, trauma and PTSD, family conflict, peer conflict, and self-harming behaviors.
Laura’s practice is based at our Philadelphia location.
