
Kara Schwartz, MS, LAPC, CTP
Kara Schwartz earned her BA in Psychology from Dickinson College and her MS in Mental Health Counseling from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She has provided therapy in college counseling, PHP, and IOP settings, and held leadership roles in the nonprofit sector. Kara uses evidence-based approaches like CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing, creating affirming spaces where clients feel supported and empowered.
At ETHOS, Kara sees clients ages 14+ for individual therapy and facilitates the Evening Adult Mental Health IOP in Philadelphia. She also serves on the Board of Be a Part of the Conversation, a nonprofit focused on family recovery and the impact of substance use. Fun fact: Kara loves outdoor concerts—especially at the Mann Center!
