Claudia Griffo holds a license in social work and is deeply committed to aiding individuals on their paths to healing. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Rowan University before furthering her education at Widener University, where she obtained a Master’s degree in Social Work. Alongside her graduate studies, Claudia pursued certification in trauma recovery, underscoring her dedication to comprehensive care.
Throughout her career, Claudia has specialized in assisting adolescents and adults grappling with a range of challenges including eating disorders, body image issues, anxiety, depression, OCD, and PTSD. As a practitioner of HAES (Health At Every Size), she advocates for holistic well-being irrespective of body size.
Central to Claudia's approach is the belief that our past experiences do not dictate our futures; she empowers individuals to enact positive change in their lives. Drawing from both personal insights and professional expertise, Claudia recognizes healing as a multifaceted journey, striving to foster a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore and grow. She prioritizes empathy and understanding to cultivate warm and authentic therapeutic relationships.
In her practice, Claudia integrates various therapeutic modalities including mindfulness, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), trauma-informed care, and a narrative approach. She tailors her interventions to meet the unique needs of each client, facilitating personalized growth and development.
